Summer glau

Firefly's stardom was partly due to the fact she was the lead actress in Whedon's subsequent TV series, Firefly. Summer Glau was very good at handling the complex role as River Tam. The character Tam was made to be a part of government experiments in which she was trained to be an assassin. Tam was unable to manage her emotions, as a result. Glau's skills in combat were displayed in the show Firefly. It was also evident that being trained to be an assassin allowed Glau to make the most of her athletic skills. Summer Glau's classical training has made her a skilled ballerina. She also has studies in tango and flamenco however it was her broken toe that ended her dancing career. Firefly was only on for one year but gained an avid following. Whedon returned to the show after a few years. However, Summer Glau continued to get some quality work.
