Bellamy Young

Young began her acting career as an actress in the theater. Her Broadway debut on Broadway in the year 1997 as Mary who was the very first actress of The Life. In addition, she performed off Broadway in Stephen Sondheim's musical Merrily We Rolled Along (1994), as well as Randy Newman's Faust (from 1995-1996). The actress made her debut on TV in 1995, with an appearance on the show as the character Dr. Courtney Evans, NBC's daytime soap opera Another World. She appeared in Law & Order as a guest in two parts in 1997, and again in 1998. She made her debut in 1999, playing a part in Black and White, a crime drama. In the following years, she was a co-star on various independent movies. From the mid-2000s onwards, she began appearing in guest-starring in a variety of television dramas and comedies, like The Drew Carey Show, The X Files, ER, Frasier, The West Wing, NCIS, Medium, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Two and a Half Men, Supernatural, Drop Dead Diva, and Castle. Young has appeared on over 30 television shows from the years 2000 to 2011. Young was a regular cast member in the USA Network series Peacemakers in 2003. The show was pulled off the air after one season of nine episodes. The actress played the role of deputy Dist. on the Lifetime show For the People. Atty. Agnes Hunt, NBC's Scrubs, as the character Dr. Grace Miller, NBC's Scrubs as Monica West (CSI: Miami 2005-2006) as well as ABC's Dirty Sexy Money, as Ellen Darling (the eldest in-law daughter of the Darlings) and CBS's CSI: Miami, as Monica West (assistant state attorney).
