The Horizon Award is given to individuals from the private sector who have helped to increase opportunities for all Americans. It also acknowledges individuals who have set outstanding models for youngsters through their achievements in life. Tom was a fantastic partner and friend. He enjoyed playing with an experienced and skilled group , and would work hard whenever his Magnum schedule allowed ..... Tom was very patient with us all, and we loved the huge crowds that replaced the small number of players' friends and spouses at the National tourney games. ".
