
Salma Hayek Pinault born Salma Valgarma Hayek-Jimenez (born September 2, 1966)[3][4][5] is a Mexican and American actor and film producer. In Mexico, she began her acting career playing the role as Teresa in the telenovela (1989-1991), as well as El Callejon de los Milagros (1995) which was the film in which she received an Ariel Award. From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999), Dogma (1999) and Desperado (1995) were but some of her many Hollywood credits. Hayek's character as Frida Kahlo as a painter, in Frida (2002) which was a biographical feature she co-produced and won her the Academy Award for Best Actress nomination[66. She also received her Golden Globe Award and Screen Actors Guild Award nominations. Hayek continued to produce, while starring in action-oriented pictures Once Upon a Time in Mexico later on in her career.
